Rain is cleansing. I like the rain. It has a way of making everything OK. After the rain, everything smells and looks fresh. There is always “after the rain”. Nothing or no one stays around forever. That’s why YOU have to live, laugh, and love now! Keep pushing, stay aware, keep positive. The rain is going to come, the darkness is going to come, the floods, the storms, the night. Ain’t one GODDAM thing you can do about. But, when things look and seem the worst, something, somehow, will make you stop and laugh, or remember. Something will make you smile. Make you pause and say–”It ain’t so bad.”

Often times, here in Miami, during the winter months, we get nice cool weather (notice I say cool, not cold) after the rain. As a matter of fact, it’s been raining here for two days now. I’ve turned my air condtioning off and have opened the glass sliding doors, the air outside is cool and it’s starting to dry up. Yea!!!! I love the cool, it’s a nice refreshing change from the heat of the year.
I have to agree with what you have to say about the rain, physically and metaphorically. And, after the rain, the sun will come out, maybe not tomorrow, but it will and it will shine brighter than ever before. This is my first time on your BLOG page, I hope to visit again, sooner than later.
